Fishers Police Department
With 88 officers serving the town of Fishers under Chief George G. Kehl, the Fishers Police Department makes the safety of children and families its top priority and excels at maintaining the town’s low crime rates. The department believes in staying ahead of Fishers’ growth by constantly recruiting and improving its services to ensure that the town of Fishers can stay safe and well-patrolled. The department’s units and divisions include: The Administration Division, The Records Division, The Training Unit, The Police Technology Unit, Uniform Services Division, School Resource Officers, K-9 Unit, Criminal Investigation Division, Dive Team, Internet Crimes Unit, Special Investigations Unit, Drug Task Force, and Traffic Enforcement Unit. The Fishers Police Department is heavily involved in the community and sponsors programs and activities such as the Neighborhood Crime Watch Program, the Citizen’s Academy, the Teen Academy, the D.A.R.E. Program, the Books and Badges Program, public safety classes, and many other activities at local schools and events for children throughout the year. Fishers Fire Department
The Fishers Fire Department protects 52 square-miles of area with more than 120 career firefighters and paramedics operating under Fire Chief Steve Orusa. In 2008, the department responded to 4,069 calls, and the department is serious about investigating each and every fire for cause. The department provides not only standard fire, rescue, and public safety, but also has divisions and training for specialty rescues such as confined space, high angle, building collapse, trench collapse, water rescue, hazardous materials response, and state-of-the-art emergency medical service. The Fishers Fire Department is also trained in National Incident Management, which qualifies them to respond to Homeland Security situations.

Fire Station 91
Headquarters Located at 2 Municipal Drive, this fire station includes fire engine, ladder truck, tactical rescue truck, and battalion vehicle.
Fire Station 92
Located at 11595 Brook School Road, this fire station includes a ladder/engine truck, ambulance, and rescue boats.
Fire Station 93
Located near Allisonville Road and 106th Street, this fire station includes a fire engine and ambulance.
Fire Station 94
Located at 10701 Cumberland Road, this station includes a fire engine.
Fire Station 95
Located at 10870 East 131st Street, this station includes a fire engine, ambulance, and tanker.
The Fishers Fire Department is proactive in its community initiative to provide public safety and fire prevention to Fishers residents.
